Manager for mental health care startup
A company focused on improving mental health and are looking to add on an Engineering manager to their small engineering team of seven. They are working to develop applications that are automating cognitive behavioral therapy to create exercises and tips in order to better our mental health over a six week program. They currently have two applications on the market, one for individuals suffering from insomnia and one for anxiety and are in the middle of developing another for depression. They have two offices one in SF and one in London and are looking for a manager with 8+ years of experience to join their team. They are currently Python and Django on the backend and React on the frontend but are also open to Ruby on Rails engineers. This individual would be joining the team to work closely with their VP of Engineering to come up with architectural decisions, work hands-on, and to help mentor the other members of the team. They are also going to be migrating to AWS so you would have a hand in that as well. They want engineers that are motivated by process, scalability, and making the team more cohesive.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Python or Ruby experience
- Frontend experience with React (+)
