A growing startup in Santa Monica is adding a senior engineer to their current team of four junior level software engineers. Building a software platform that uses machine learning to analyze online reputation for individuals and businesses, this tight-knit group of engineers implements some of the newest trends in artificial intelligence.
Currently, their ideal candidate will have at least four years of software development experience in a Java environment, preferably in a DevOps culture. J2EE, Spring, or Dropwizard are desired skills, and Docker or Maven experience would be a huge plus. Also, this person will become the most senior engineer on the team, so some type of mentorship or past lead experience would be an asset. From a personality perspective, this person should be a good listener, but open and candid and not afraid to speak up with opinions about best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Java development
- Dropwizard a plus

- Competitive Salary: Up to $130,000/year, DOE
