Help Desk Engineer

A rapidly-growing organization in the Greater Boston area is looking for a Help Desk Engineer to join their team and provide direct support and technical assistance to their clients. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other experienced engineers and assist with technology projects and new implementations.

They are looking for someone who is well-versed with supporting Windows servers, Active Directory and Exchange. The ideal candidate should also have general routing and switching support, as well as previous customer facing experience. If you are looking to jumpstart your IT career into the world of systems administration, this is the position for you!

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a help desk role
  • Experience with Windows 2008 or 2012 servers
  • Understanding of Active Directory
  • Knowledge of Exchange or O365
  • Network troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Prior virtualization experience (VMware or V-sphere)
  • Prior experience with SQL databases
  • Web server experience (IIS)
