Mature startup in the data virtualization space is looking to expand its user experience team. Their product is the leader in performance management across multiple environments including physical, virtual, and cloud. They executives for this company all came from the big players like VMWare, Symantec, Vendavo, and Aptina.
The current team consists of a UX manager that oversees the user experience design, a visual designer that handles the aesthetics, and a user researcher that plays a big part building personas and conceptualization. They are looking to bring on a senior interaction designer to own the interaction design part of the process.
This is the ideal position for someone who is looking for an opportunity you to focus purely on design versus having to lay down all the ground work. This is NOT a 1st UX hire type opportunity. You’ll have a team to work with to build a great product. On top of all that, the flagship product will be going a complete redesign and you’ll be on the forefront of it.
