Our client has an open job for a Project Lead / Senior Embedded Software / Firmware Engineer RTOS for their office in Orange County near Irvine. They are a company with an innovative video format that takes advantage of cutting edge DSP technology to produce cameras for still and motion with an ultra-high resolution format. This job would be working on a brand new product family and the right candidate will be able to lead all software development efforts on this new product geared towards the display of ultra-high resolution video. These roles are growth positions open because the company is funneling profits into R & D.
Required Skills
- Embedded RTOS software development experience
- C / C++, experience with Threading, Interrupts, Emulators, Debuggers
- Exposure to developing software on ARM based systems
- Exposure to developing software that communicates with FPGA's or programmable logic
- Exposure to various interfaces or standards like i2c serial rs-232. rs-485, USB, SPI
- Analog AC /DC sampling for temperature sensors
- SD MICRO experience
- Embedded Linux experience
- Exposure to stepper motor controls
- Exposure to device drivers, logic analyzers, oscopes, reading schematics
- HDMI, Video compression / codec technologies (not a dsp job)
- Exposure to developing software communicating with DSP chips like the TI Davinci
